白銀比の大きさを2分の1、4分の1としても常に縦と横の比率が1:√2になるという特徴に着目しました。 A判の長方形を半分に折り重ねることで同じカタチでサイズ展開ができます。 白銀比の4つ角をつまんでできるカタチに小物を収納するという機能を持たせました。 1回、2回と折っていくたびに徐々に色が混ざることで､視覚的に白銀比の重なりを感じられるようになっています。 「pie」はパイ生地のような「重なり」と、円周率が無限に続くことからカタチに「永続性」があることを意味しています。 入れる物によって大きさを変えられるフレキシブルなケースです。

Our focus was on the property of the silver ratio that states that even if an object is reduced to a half, or even a quarter of its size, the ratio between the length and the width of the area of said object will always be 1:√2. It is possible to expand the size of an A sized rectangle by consistently folding it in half. We have made an object whose main feature allows for small items to be stored by pinching its four corners according to the silver ratio. The overlapping of the silver ratios can be visually perceived as colors begin to gradually mix according to the number of times they are folded. It is a case that can be changed in size depending on the object it holds. Similar to folding a pie crust, there is meaning to the permanence of a shape that considers the mathematical constant of Pie.
