Four seasons
何度折っても比率が一定である白銀比と、折り返しながら使用されるハンカチに共通性を見出し、折っても折っても比率が一定な白銀比ハンカチを考案しました。 このハンカチでは4面の比率ごとに異なるカラーパターンとすることで、ガイドになり折りやすさ、またどの面を使用したか視認しやすさを狙っています。 製法としては織を想定、縦と横の糸を切り替えることで異なるカラーを作り出します。 最終的には国内の天然繊維の織産地と協業し、プロダクトに付加価値を与える想定しております。
I discovered the similarities between the silver ratio and the handkerchief and devised an object that has a constant ratio no matter how many times it is folded. By dividing the handkerchief into four different color patterns on each side, I produced an object that uses color as a guide thus making it easy to fold. As expected of cloth, we hope to manufacture our product through the weaving of warp and weft threads to produce different colors. Eventually, we will collaborate with natural fiber manufacturing regions in Japan in order to add value to our products.
